In 2010, my husband proposed to me here. <3 JEEP's - "The Middle" is an amazing commercial about the chapel. lt that will give you goosebumps.

Such a fun, unique experience. Definitely worth the stop. It was raining when we visited so we only stayed for about 10 minutes but there is a picnic area there so it would be fun to plan to stay longer. Also make sure to stop by the visitor center in town and see the old town jail. We stopped at the public bathrooms at the city park as well and they were very nicely kept.

Visited the Geographical Center of the US. It was a neat landmark that is more peaceful and quiet than the loud an boisterous monuments you would expect. There is a placard with a brief explanation, a small pavillion and an even smaller church. The drive up there was beautiful as well.

A fun little stop. Standing in the center of the Lower 48! The tiniest chapel sits on the site. We had the place to ourselves so we got to enjoy it a bit longer 🙂
