I am so glad I found Dr. J and his amazing team at Imagine Wellness Centre. After over a decade of seeing a specialist, my health was maintained and not improving. But after ordering lab and genetics work, Dr. J was able to get to the root of my issue so it would be addressed and healing could begin. He thoroughly explains all the lab results which is a breath of fresh air. It makes you feel like you are a part of the healing cycle because you are completely in the know of what is going on with your body system and a plan of action is individualized to your specific needs. Healing may take time but it is so worth feeling like a new person. I am so grateful to have begun this journey to good health with such an amazing, kind, and encouraging team!

Enjoyed participating in the Imagine Wellness 4 month online wellness program! The program is well set up with weekly lessons, application of the content, goals to achieve, labs and appointments with Dr. J and activities to do along the way. After a recent challenge with cancer, I needed another approach such as Functional Medicine to address my health issues. I am thankful for the labs ordered that picked up on things that were not through my primary. and other medical providers; it was eye opening. Dr. J spends the time discussing these labs and other aspects of your health with you. The rest of the Imagine Wellness team are also there as a resource and to support you along the way. I’m so happy my husband put me in touch with Dr. J and his team. I never felt so good in a long time. He is very thorough with his research on what’s really making you sick. I found that there were certain foods that were causing me so much pain. After 2 months of not eating a certain food I tried it again and the pain in my left side instantly came back. Thankfully due to research I know what foods to watch out for. I’ve found healthier ways to grocery shop. He was able to see what’s the real cause of my thyroid issue. Before beginning my journey with imagine wellness, I struggled with Hashimotos and PCOS for almost 20 years. My endocrinologist told me my thyroid levels were normal; however, I didn’t feel normal. I started the program with Dr. J back in September 2022 and opted for the 6 month program. It has been an eye opening experience for me. The education materials are great and I learned a lot about what not to eat and what to eat. The detox program was a little hard at first but worth it. The office staff was very supportive and helpful. The genetic results were also great. I started the program with much fatigue and stomach reflux. Now I don't feel fatigued and can eat food I would avoid so I wouldn't get reflux. I'm also eating healthier. Dr. J is not lying when he says he doesn't want you to be on supplements all your life (unless you need a certain one due to genetic results). Dr. J gets to the root of your problem with all the testing he has you do at the beginning of program. I looked at the price as an investment in my health because I was tired of feeling the way I was, and we only get older and it's better to be in good health as you age. Thank you Imagine Wellness for all you do! Highly recommend them.

This review is long overdue. The information I gained and was inspired to learn on my own changed my food lifestyle. Although my symptoms were not "cured" during the 6-month plan (I followed it diligently), my improvement (symptoms, overall wellness, food choices) was definitely worth it!!! I want to preface this that I have sat on this review for over 5 months. I also want to state that the staff as people and individuals are phenomenal.

Let's start at the beginning. I attended the webinar video as required and paid the deposit for my appointment no issue there. I had been through several other programs with different providers so I understand that you have to follow a process. I attended the first appointment with my wife as instructed and I knew immediately it was to get her buy in from day 1 so she would also get all the information direct from the source. We went through the initial consultation for about a little over an hour and Dr. said he could help me, the only issue was that Dr. J didnt really ask me any questions about my past, my previous experiences, or anything that hadnt worked etc etc. He didnt give me the opportunity to voice and shed more light or he didn't really do any true discovery. I can only assume because its almost a one size fits all approach, detox the body and allow the body to heal. Even then I still signed up because he was talking about Epigenetics and I said to myself this is a new approach I had not taken. Long story short I was an easy sell for the program because I was desperate for my healing. The program and support initially started out very good, I did get calls initially to check in. Even when I missed appointments I got called to get back on track. I did my part with the detox and lifestyle changes, but this was basic information I had already been through and was not getting any personalized treatment. It was a one size fits all approach.

Whenever I would reach out for nutrition ideas, always always helpful. However, I would provide updates that I am experiencing this or that and automatically I was placed on another supplement. I am all for taking supplements and I understand that every person is unique but at the height of the program it felt like everything was reactive and I was taking a boat load of supplements, an amount I have never taken before. Again the staff and Dr.J as human beings are great.

There was a period of time when I did verbally indicate that what we were doing wasnt working and so they kindly increased my in person visits to help. The visits were just questions on how I was feeling, ok now take this other supplement and add it to the mix. After a while though I kept on feeling worse and worse and the issues I came in for were flaring up more and more. We were not addressing anything specific to my needs it was all just patch work in my opinion. These were not signs of die off because I had been through that previously. No testing was done after the initial tests no real followups were done after a certain point in my treatment. I was pretty much just left to figure this out via the modules. The modules are good for basic information for food and knowledge of foods but during the time when you are just adrift in modules you are just kinda on your own at least I felt like.

I know I missed an appointment and thats when I never heard from the team again. I admit my fault to only call once to reschedule but by this time it was out of sight out of mind cause I hadnt interacted with the team for so long. also i know its up to the customer to be their own advocate. It was a tough spot for me because during that period of time, because due to health reasons i could not drive myself, another reason for joining the program. I was on the 6 month program so I could give myself a half year of full support but what I got instead was radio silence. I didnt hear back from the team until i voiced my concern and displeasure and then all I got was an email saying come in to finish off my last appointments.

At this point I am thinking to myself well, they collected their $6k plus all the supplements so what does it matter to them if I finish out the program. I did write back that the final appointments were not needed because up to this point there had been no communication. Do I wish for my money back,yes. Do I wish for my time back, ABSOLUTELY!
