This place was spotless. It was really nice place to wait for the Amtrak train. The only thing that would’ve made it even better was, if maybe they had a little Starbucks or café in there. There were escalators and elevators in case you didn’t want to climb all the stairs.

Beautiful, clean, and functional rail and bus depot. The name suggests the functional utility of the depot, but it doesn't tell you just how nice the facility is, nor does it hint at how spectacularly functional it is. Parking is immediately adjacent to the depot, but unless you have some need to linger, most people pick up and drop off at the curb in front. This has always been a hassle-free task for me, whether picking up or dropping off.. The depot itself is beautiful inside, with striking arched supports for the ceiling and dramatic, but not off-putting lighting. There is also food and beverages available within the facility. Everything is clean, including the bathrooms. If you've read my other reviews, you may detect that one of the criteria I use to judge a facility is the cleanliness of the bathrooms, Filthy bathrooms aren't just off-putting disease-pits, they are a proxy for how the staff cares for the facility itself. If you are going to access the trains, you'll need to go up one level to the second floor where there is a bridge to where the train tracks are. Busses meet outside, generally in the rear of the facility of on the west side of it. There are also bicycle lockers next to the depot in case your commute includes bicycling for its last/first leg. I don't know if there is a fee for the lockers, if you need to bring your own lock or other details, I just know they're there. Also right next to the depot is the bicycle trail that follows the Santa Ana River, which could be used as a safer place to bicycle than the street normally is.

This is the worst run bus company that I have ever experienced! I used ART to get to Disneyland while in Anaheim. The buses never ran on time and never showed up on several occasions. They say they pick up every 20 minutes, yet ever day, twice per day, we waited over an hour for the bus. Also, the buses were extremely over-crowded. The app was not even close to being accurate as to when the buses would arrive and asking ART bus drivers was like speaking to zombies and everything they told us about pick up times was false. Locals I spoke to said to take the Orange County Bus instead. I had this same experience two years ago while there, yet I thought it would be better now, and it was actually worse! We were exhausted when we arrived at Disneyland after waiting so long in the heat to catch a bus.
If I were 'king for a day' I would force ART management to ride the bus to work every day for a month and insist that they arrive to work on time. Maybe then, things with this bus company will improve.

Beautiful train station a grate option to move form San Diego to Anaheim. Even better than taking a car, it’s faster, safer and you don’t get dizzy. And more important of all its more comfortable. Follow me for more traveling tips.

Large modern station building with clear signs, clean restrooms, elevators, ticket machines and staff, including security staff to help if needed. There is a large parking lot available as well as a pick up and drop off area in front of the main entrance which makes ride share easy to locate. The main building is fully enclosed but the platforms are not, to take into consideration during inclement weather. The platforms have information screens on. Very nice modern station.

Nobody who works here ever knows anything. There is no “bus schedule” and when you ask an employee about how to take a bus to Disney, the answer changes every visit. Some people say to order “on demand busses” and when you try to, there’s technical errors or nothing available. So you ask another employee and they say to just wait at bay 12-13. An hour later a bus shows up and turns on their Not In Service light.. waste of time and money if you’re trying to ride share to Disneyland
