I used to go to this school however I moved. Firstly, very few staff are friendly and engaging. The girls are also quite mean and rude and the staff don't help even when asked. The uniforms are very expensive and on top of that you are expected to donate a large sum of money at the start of the year. The walls are a horrible yellow colour which gives you a headache and heating and air-conditioning are non existent. Detentions are handed out in almost every lesson and the behaviour system does not work as keeping a child back for 10-15 minutes is ridiculous. The policy on being late is stupid seen as most children get to school via public transport and forcing them to do litter pick is inhumane and unsanitary. Please consider other options before choosing this school!!

My daughter was accepted at GCH. I am thrilled for her but what about her? Well she like it. She says it's is strict. We must understand that coming from primary school to secondary school all girls and faith is not easy. The transition took a bit of time but she is starting to find her feet around the school. A lots of after school acti ities from puzzle club wi h is affiliate at maths club, music club, gym etc. A lots of homework and a s hool app to check what is required of students to do. Not everything is perfect my daughter mentioned that the cantine is quite difficult to have access due to year 9 taking over it for lunch time. So never have time to have a meal so I make pack lunch from home and also quite expensive. I. All some people will like it some not. We like it. X

This school is abysmal. Upper school is laid out horrendously and heating is practically nonexistent with temperatures being low enough that we were advised to wear outdoor clothing in lessons. The canteen is just an old classroom and is also laid out awfully making it difficult for anyone to move.
In regards to the level of education, several classes have been left without teachers in various subjects and the ones that are left leave a lot to be desired. There have been incidents that student's have refused to go into their lessons with certain teachers because they feel they are treated wrongly and in turn miss out on their education because their teachers can't even treat them with respect. Favouritism is also very prominent at this school. The students are not listened to at all, you won't ever be given a chance to explain yourself at this school and certain teachers are completely unfair and make their student's lives hell just so they can excercise their power. The school may seem prestigious but I promise you, all is not what it seems. The Grey Coat Hospital seeks to control their students in and outside of school and teachers have admitted to going through student's social media accounts without their permission. You are also not allowed to voice your opinion and political views that are deemed as 'controversial' are suppressed and blatant homophobia and racism is not punished, especially when it comes from teachers. Do not send your child here.

I m giving 1 star because I have been put off by the way I have been treated by the receptionist on the very first time I was going to the school for information. Not a friendly person, no smile, not happy face and nearly rude. The only thing she was just saying about all the questions I was asking her, go online, everything is online. Well, online is a robot and you are a person, but i could not make a difference between her and a robot. A good school or not, It will be more interesting for me to send my daughter to a school where I feel welcome on the very 1st day I step in the school.

excellent school and excellent opportunities ( with the acknowledgement that with all state funded comprehensives there are limits to what can be provided). Just a school where your child can flouish in a truely comprehensive environment and all the life skills that brings for later life when you have learnt to work with and be friends with people from many different levels of society. It is strict, but after a slightly chaotic time in primary school where dicipline was hard to maintain in the classroom, this was a relief to my children, who have both enjoyed their time at school. ( please note not a chair person of anykind at the school just the name of my google account !)

It is an excellent school with all teachers exceptionally good. Ms. Young the head teacher and my daughters form tutor Ms Clayton and her SENCO Ms Angela Louden and Miss Mushrafi are very kind, professional and most caring for children's needs. They are enormously helpful to my daughter with special needs. Thanks for all your help Ms Young.

I attended The Greycoat Hospital for 3 years and I don't even know where to start with explaining how horrendous my experience was. To start with there is a lot of bullying that goes undealt with. Not only between students but also between students and teachers. The deputy head teacher has literally screamed in student's faces, numerous times. I had to leave GCH because by the time year 10 came I point blank refused to go to school because of how traumatised I was. My mental health has been destroyed in every sense of the word from attending this school and leaving was the best decision I ever made. Do not ket your child attend this scum they call a school. Any and every child deserves better.

Teachers have favouritism here ? and trust me they do. They also never listen and teachers love to back up each other therefore they’ll never hear your side even if a teacher slapped you x
However not all teachers are like that.
