Terrible experience. Out of 8 people waiting to take the test, 3 were refused due to minor errors in their application forms—things that could have been quickly fixed if there were better support. Only one person was there to handle everyone’s needs, and all updates or bookings must be done online, taking 3-5 working days. Tests are only held on Saturdays, so a small mistake costs you weeks of waiting and, in my case, a lost £160. Completely inflexible and poorly managed.

Taking one of these language exams is a stressful enough process. To have staff that are either so rude or incompetent, that they actually make it worse, is the last thing you need. That is exactly what happened in my experience with this test center, and why I would strongly advise that anyone who has a choice to book somewhere else to do so.

I actually raised my complaints with the general Pearson customer service team, only for them to not address a single one of the points mentioned. Tried reaching out to this center's general manager, but there's no direct email address for her. Taking into account the above, I would strongly advise against giving them your money, at least not before they have provided their staff with some more desperately-needed service and competency training.

I sat professional exams in the Edinburgh test centre in January and Norma and the team did a fantastic job of making sure that everything ran smoothly and that there was no added stress on top of the exams themselves! Knowing that the practicalities would be seamless and that the team were friendly and kind made a difference coming back for the second paper a week after the first. It seems to be a very well-run test centre and I wouldn't have any concerns about returning.

Austin, Paul and Norma are a phenomenal trio. They have a lot of rules and security to maintain for the various exams they proctor but they were incredibly professional, kind and efficient. Exam day can be stressful but they did everything to make it an otherwise enjoyable experience.

The building is NOT difficult to find, you just have to be let in by a buzzer based on your approved time.

Hi , while trying to apply for cscs card I got rejected, Reason being that I needed cscs certificate that I just submitted result, please at exam center do you issue CERTIFICATE , I need one urgently to process my cscs green card and get a job to put food on the table , any help from you guys will be highly appreciated. Staff were so lovely but you could tell they were getting stressed due to how busy it was as waiting room isn't that big. The whole thing was set out very well for before and after test. The only thing that was an issue was the printer had stopped working before i went in for my Theory and just my luck it stopped working when i came out and had to sit for about 15 minutes and wait for my results which i passed 🙂

Daughter had theory test book on Friday 2/10/2020. Test due to take place 5.30om. Arrived at appointment at 5.15office shut, rang door bell waited 30 minutes no reply. 4 others standing outside as well. Can I say this is now the second time this has happened to us. Arrived last month same thing. Then went into check and they had moved her test to 1/11/2020 at 5.30. Which is a Sunday and office not even open on Sunday’s so how can they book this day when office not opened? Total shambles. Daughter had to leave online lecture early to take theory and you cancelled it without any warning. What’s even more frustrating is that my niece managed to book an appointment on Saturday and got a test next week. However my daughter can’t as when she goes into web to change nothing available? It seems that people who have had test cancelled since March aren’t getting tests and being mucked about but a new person can get one right away, Pearson can you explain this I no times are difficult due to COVID-19 but your system is all wrong. My daughter is a key worker volunteering at hospital and she feels that you are letting her down by constantly mucking her about. Giving her days for test and when we turn up office is closed. Please can this be sorted out she is desperate to get this done.
