I’ve being going to the Rec for about a year now. Love how the gym is never crowded. Work out equipment is usually available for use. Not like other GYMs. The staff is kind and nice. Very clean facility with everything you need to build muscle or cardio. Definitely worth the monthly fee.

Super fun, went to kiddie tyme which is for the most part daily 11-1230 and costs $3 for the kid (1-5yrs) (1-3 on Fridays) they open up the gym area and have bouncing balls, cars,shopping carts, dolls, kitchen with food and table, puzzles. I had a lot of fun at age appropriate space for toddlers. First time today, will go again soon.

I give 2 thumbs up to every employee, with the exception of the older gentleman that works there. He seems to pick on folks. I understand rules are rules however, the folks that accept my credit card should say “hey before you pay your money, pls make sure you have a band on at all times or sir I cannot let you onto the gym because you don’t have on the appropriate footwear.” I find out about rules and regulations normally after I paid my money and I’ve been in the gym for a bit, and then the enforcer shows up. Quoting all of the rules and regulations and policies ofthe center.

My son and I frequent this center to take advantage of the basketball facilities. It’s usually no to busy and my son and I have plenty of space to “work out” and not feel overwhelmed. It can be a bit much for a 10 year old. But when this guy shows it’s always an uncomfortable vibe and motivates me to find another facility

My son did a soccer camp here. The coaches were engaging and fun, the kids were not just lining up being bored, they were always moving and learning new skills. We will do another camp here in the future.

Honestly, this place is fantastic for the community. Ballet, basketball, and swimming are just a few opportunities available. I wish this rec center were more extensive but maybe someday.

The pool is nice and the hot tub is fantastic. But some idiot has come the insane conclusion that swimming with goggles which cover the nose is somehow unsafe. Never mind that this is exactly the equipment that professional divers use, it's not safe in a pool. I was told by staff that this decision was made by the county but when I checked with the county, they had no idea what I was talking about. Also, no other pool in the area has this rule. So no, it's not the county, it's some jackwad at this rec center making ridiculous rules. My recommended solution is simple; fire whoever is in charge of this wreck center and hire someone competent to make intelligent decisions.

(And no, I didn't misspell rec center.)

This review is for the tutu toddler ballet class. I had low expectations for this class because the cost was so low and it's advertised for 2.5 years old and up. I was mostly just looking for my daughter to have a class experience, maybe get some energy out. Unfortunately, the teacher ("Miss Bethany") was quite late to the first two classes, spent significant class time chit-chatting with parents about her own dance experiences and stories, and seemed totally incapable of keeping the children engaged in a meaningful way. On the second class, she announced that she would allow NO parents in the classroom that week (she had encouraged parents in the classroom the first week). This was my daughter's first class that wasn't mommy-and-me and I specifically chose it because the terms for the class said that parents could sit in the studio, if necessary. Not surprising, multiple children burst into tears when their parents were abruptly forced to leave the room and the teacher had no idea how to handle this. After two classes where the teacher began class significantly late and didn't offer the class committed, I asked for a refund. They gave me a partial one (for the remaining classes) and I had to pursue the balance of the refund through my CC company. The rec center as a facility is just fine, but I absolutely do not recommend the toddler tutu classes. I looked for reviews for this class before I signed up and wished I'd found some honest feedback, so here it is!
