Broadway Dance Center is an amazing studio. The studios are large & very clean. The teachers are professionals and are very passionate about their students. Classes go from early morning to late night with every style you can think of. Great class levels from beginners to industry professionals.

The instructors are experts, and professional. I love the thorough warmups before class, and the focus on technique. Classmates are friendly and supportive too. The building is beautiful, well designed and kept incredibly clean. The app is practical to use, and intuitive. Most of the staff have been phenomenally welcoming, but few teachers and staff have not been as nice. Overall, its a fun space and so I return for more top knotch training.

I felt like I was bullied out of my first class at BDC by the instructor. For some background, I signed up for a beginner class and I already had some experience at another dance school.

However the instructor was going extremely fast as it seemed like everyone in the class already knew the choreography from prior classes. He kept yelling at me because I couldn't keep up. He had me sit out in the corner. Then I rejoined and he told me to leave. Easily one of the most embarrassing experiences of my adult life. He implied that I was intentionally not following his choreography. Why would I spend money to intentionally humiliate myself like that?

I never want to show my face there again. Please consider relabeling your "beginner" classes. It's quite pretentious to have this labeling system where beginner classes are actually intermediate/advanced level. Not sure at all but it almost seems like this is done intentionally to discourage beginners from returning... Especially since a lot of people I've spoken to about my experience have run into the same issue with BDC.

I took a lovely ballet drop in class here. I did as the website suggested and downloaded the app beforehand. When I arrived I was checked in quickly and headed up to the 3rd floor for locker rooms and a class in studio 1. The locker room was very clean and neat. There are day lockers for use. You are able to bring your bag in the studio with you and set it on the windowsill durning class. I took Dorit Koppel's ballet class which was AMAZING. She's a wonderful teacher with great instruction and passion! I am looking forward to the next time I am nearby and able to drop in for a class. Their schedule is packed with classes so it's not hard to find something to work with your own schedule!

BDC offers a diverse selection of classes, each led by exceptional teachers who are not only skilled dancers but also have distinctive and engaging personalities. I appreciate that the classes are 1.5 hours long, providing ample time to properly warm up and master the choreography.
There are changing rooms, showers (though I never used them), water fountains. And vending machines with snacks.

Studios have colorful lights which can be used for creating the real stage atmosphere!
