Appalling training provider - I would not recommend if you are looking to do your CIPD level 7 through this training provider.
I am thankfully nearing the end of my Level 7 course. It has been a difficult experience throughout, with poor communication, tutors who rely on breakout rooms instead of sharing knowledge and actually teaching, evening sessions without adequate breaks, and last minute changing of schedules. Everyone on my current module has complained about Acacia and it has been really difficult to get support from tutors and student support at times, especially when needing this for assignments. It is not a cheap course, so think very carefully about all of your options before committing to this provider.

I would definitely recommend Acacia Learning as a learning provider. I achieved my CIPD level 3 diploma a couple of years ago and had a great experience and therefore decided to study the level 5 diploma with Acacia Learning. Great experience with all the tutors I've had, they are knowledgeable and engaging. The student support team are also brilliant and really helpful.

I started learning with Acacia in January 2023. I moved from Kiev because of the war and was looking for good provider of CIPD level 7.
I was first time in my life, when customer support reacted very slow ( within 2 days), the answers were often disconnected with my requests. Moreover, the platform is old fashioned.
This level of service had negative impact on my mental health.
Fortunately, I started to search new provider and highly recommended AheadHR. They do their job on excellent level, they react in 24 hours, and more important, they sincerely listen to customers.

As a result, if you would like to get great quality of education, service, modern platform, you should not study with Acacia.

I started learning with Acacia in Jan 2021, initially Acacia were great and Marco is an amazing tutor!

Half way through I had some issues when classes started and tutors didn't send out the slides until days after the class. I'd even emailed the tutor and office in advance for the slides. There seems to be a disconnect between if Acacia office or the individual tutor should be sending slides and material out. This was an issue for me as its it's much easier to understand the class and more effective learning if you have the slides available to read and make notes as the class progresses vs them being flashed on a small zoom screen.

Also had some times where Tutors would take considerable amount of time in the class manually taking down student emails and sending out slides or materials and granting access to Google folders - which is quite painful and time consuming. My view this should be done in advance, in the break or after class, vs taking up the whole class time - this is just my preference and my expectation of technically able tutors delivering e-learning and isn't an issue per say.

Near the end of my 6 modules it became difficult to book on classes with not many being scheduled and the ones that were, filling up. Acacia response is to book classes well in advance, however booking in advance does not solve the capacity issue or that there are significantly more students enrolled than available spaces in classes.

Based on my initial experience and some great tutors, I would recommend Acacia. However I also recognise you can be unlucky to get some less able tutors or to not book all your classes at the very start or need to change classes and then all classes are full.

Acacia Learning has been a wonderful experience for me.
I never thought about gaining higher qualifications, work threw me chance and I decided to give it a go. They have truly thought about every module and the way their tutors teach.
Acacia's tutors have surpassed expectations. Their methods have been amazing and their continuous support throughout each model, up to the due date of each assignment has been a great value.
I never thought I was very good at writing, but the tutors have given me the courage to write (not that I have a choice with all the assignments) and made me aware of skills.

I am doing my Level 3 CIPD with Acacia learning. I’ve been very pleased with this choice. Tutors are great and always willing to answer questions in class or after class/by e-mail. Learning material has been easy to follow.
I have found it easy to be working and doing this course at the same time as there are many course options to choose from. I would therefore really recommend Acacia.

This was my first time approaching any sort of academic study and I was quite nervous at first however, Acacia Learning put my mind at ease. The support and guidance has been second to none. I wanted to personally thank my tutor for my 5CHR module, Michelle. She was so knowledgeable, supportive and engaging each week. It was a joy to learn that I passed my very first assignment and this has given me the confidence to continue my learning with Acacia. I couldn't recommend Acacia enough. Thank you

Acacia Learning thrives on having some of the best tutors I've been taught by. Each person has a different style of learning- kinaesthetic, auditory and visual learning. Being a lover of behavioural psychology myself (which what drove me to do my HR Diploma), I noticed that Acacia managed to hit all types of learning methods through their course. The flexibility the course offers works for all individuals, from professionals to students alike. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone that wants to get into the HR field whilst actually retaining useful knowledge to help you grow.
