Dr Madge Potts did such a fantastic job pulling my tooth yesterday she made sure that I had no pain during my procedure and was very courteous. I have had no pain afterwards in my jaw or anywhere in my mouth. Literally the best dental visit I've ever had. She is fantastic and also the hygienist that was in there was super friendly and knowledgeable. Great experience. Thank you ladies!!!

I was not sure how things would go since I hadn't been to the health department in decades? I called first to check if I needed an appointment. I went because I needed a “referral” to a cardiologist so I could receive services but I had to see a doctor there in order to receive it. I walked in and stood in line. The place is spacious and the different areas for patients were easy to understand. Such as big overhead signs that said, “Walk In”, “Pharmacy”, “Family Medicine”, “Bathrooms”, and “Manatee Eye Care”. I did not stand in line long and I was given a patient intake app to download and filled out my personal information on my phone which they retreived! After I finished that my phone let me know it was time to go back to see the doctor. I was able to get my referral and paperwork and I left! Each service area had three front desk people waiting to help and moved people on quickly to the next step. They had plenty of chairs to sit down, the inside was cool with A/C, a water fountain, and two large bathrooms, and everything was clean and they had chairs outside to sit down for people who needed to call for transportation. I will be returning to have an eye exam appointment because I need glasses! From now on I have a place to see a doctor when I catch a cold or if I am really feeling ill instead of suffering the “wait & see” approach that takes extra weeks of misery to recover from! I have no complaints! There was plenty of parking outside and the landscaping looked nice! A+

Over all experience has ok.

As far the walk-in clinic they take of your primary concern and out the door you go. If you are an established patient with a doctor in the office care it is a little bit better but usually it's "tell me what's wrong and next" approach. But as a patient I want to actually hold a conversation with my doctor and discuss my options for my care not just "what else?" It just feels sometimes like we are rushed and not really heard.

I. Love. This. Place! OMG. The people here are Ah-mazing! I know, I know, I only have it four stars ?, but I'll get to that later. First let me tell you about the people.

STEPHEN!! Yeah, you, Stephen. You work so hard, and put yourself out there, serving the community - YOUR community - and you deserve this little shout out! THIS guy was SO kind and gentle, answering any and every question with a smile and a little bit of love even. "That's what I'm here for". You oozed "I love my job" and it made me being at the doctor so much more comforting. I don't know WHY I only go to the eye doctor every five years unless it's fear, just like the dentist (only the insurance thing... It's so confusing), anyway, I'm not a big fan of the eye doctor, but YOU, Stephen, made sure I was ? comfortable, even when you put the dilating drops in my eyes.

BRUCE: You were MORE than patient with me as you explained the reasoning behind the need for bigger frames for Progressive Lenses, etc. You helped me pick out my frames and made my new glasses order as close to my old ones as you could. Such PATIENCE! You deserve a medal. So kind and gentle with people. You explained Progressives to me. The lens has to be "so" big for Progressives in order for "this" amount of distance, "this" amount of regular, and "this" amount of up close (or something like that), and the "this" has to be big enough, or it doesn't work. The lenses I have currently (old ones) are too small. My current lenses could not be Progressives.

The doctor herself, DR S (I'm sorry? I don't remember your name well enough to spell it all out) was super kind and "lightly explained" what was going on (I was so excited when she told me my eyes had gotten BETTER!). I was given a bum rap on my last pair of glasses from another glasses making company who SAID I got Progressives, but I did not. You and your partner were very pleasant to work with to obtain a new prescription, and now that my glasses have arrived, as long as they're perfect, I'll be coming back here next year (Not in 2029) as long as my insurance allows it!!

OH! I mentioned that I'd explain the "only four stars"... I was a little disappointed with the selection of frames which I got to choose from. Granted, my glasses with my insurance were completely free, which is ?, (I've never had that before) but still... I ended up going BACK to thick bulky plastic frames, though they are not black, they're tortoise shell, so this should be different... Maybe they'll end up being a little 60s, like my mom's? ? Anyway, it was hard to find frames that I liked. I pick them up tomorrow, so I'll update this with more pics then.

Terrible place, I went to see a doctor, since I was feeling bad and needed medical attention. An excellent nurse treated me, she sent me to have my blood pressure, weight and height taken, then a doctor arrived with an interpreter, but I couldn't even explain to the interpreter, and it was terrible treatment, so much so that I felt denigrated because of my race. The doctor was black! I don't think I'll go again. Change the attention of the doctors first, they are supposed to be professionals. That was today at five in the afternoon.

I’ve been going here since mid 2023, I have an exposed nerve on one of my molars. They told me they wouldn’t be able to fix it until October 2024. I call to see if they have anything open (just so happens they never do.) but they did not, they scheduled me for many unnecessary appointments running my health care card before getting to the real problem and pushed my nerve appointment further back. If your healthcare puts you here SWITCH IMMEDIATELY !! Do NOT go. It’s terrible.

This place NEEDS to retrain or replace the front desk attendants!!! Only ONE, seems Latina woman give you a smile!!! Terrible customer service!!
It's a busy place, the RN is ? nice!!
