I had an excellent dental appointment at Golden Valley Health Center. The staff was kind yet professional and I felt well taken care of throughout the appointment. The dental assistant doing my X-rays was very friendly and funny, doing a great job soothing my anxiety and putting me at ease. The team made sure I understood the next steps in my treatment.

However, I did find it unusual that they didn’t schedule my follow-up appointment right away. Instead, I was told to call back in a month to check for availability, which I feel could be improved.

Overall, great service, but scheduling follow-ups more promptly would make the experience even better.

I am a new patient. I stop by try to make an appointment with a chiropractor. I have a lower back pain. I ask the receptionist if they take kaiser insurance. She said yes and no. Sometimes doesn't cover their service and might end up billing you in full without the insurance coverage. Then she told me that I need a referral from my doctor from kaiser for their chiropractor treatment. Which is the first time I heard. Already made appointment from other chiropractor and didn't tell me this.
So if you have kaiser insurance don't waste your time coming here you might end up billing you and full and will take a lot of your time making referral and appointment with them.

Great dentist, I chipped a tooth and got a next day appointment and he fixed it right up for me in only 20 minutes. This reviews coming from a former navy dental tech so thanx for the quality care doc:)

Receptionist is professional and trustworthy. Ready to help you. My experience is GVHC has an excellent staff medically trained and educated and I have received great care.
My blood pressure was too high yesterday and for my safety, my health my MD had to postpone my appointment to a later date and explained everything to me that I needed to know. So we went to his Receptionists Office where they were able to reschedule an appointment for a later date and I called GVHC when I got home and made appointment, suggested by my Dental MD.
Great professional medical staff in the Dental area.

The dentist I see at this location is FANTASTIC! I'm PETRIFIED of dentists, but Dr. Chen and his assistants make sure that I'm ok and check on me throughout the process. THANK YOU DR. CHEN, YOURE A ROCK STAR!!!

Walked in and was pleasantly surprised the Place was immaculate. They even have a vending machine with complimentary COVID test kits, face masks and Lysol wipes.
The staff was so kind and attended to our every need from tissue to referrals for all the right needs. If you don’t know how to maneuver around your insurance and health plan. This is a great resource. Highly recommend it.
