Great experience. Nice, clean, and well designed building. They provided food, coffee, and water. Staff was welcoming, the speakers had great charisma, and you will come out of this program with at least 1-2 things you can use to improve your work, volunteer and life activities.

I recently attended the two-day “Your Leadership Edge” program through KLC through a community leadership program. It is a really wonderful way to further build up the foundation of leadership. Our facilitators (shoutouts to Tina, Adrion, and Seth) were wonderful in giving us sage advice from their experience, keeping us actively engaged. My EDGE group kept steadily on topic, and helped me better understand the problems I have and what I can do to help further my drive to make an impact in the community I serve.

I attended Your Leadership Edge in person at the Kansas Leadership Center this past week. To get the most out of the 2-day program, read When Everyone Leads AND Your Leadership Edge before attending (I only read When Everyone Leads). They cover some of the material during the presentations, but seem to work from the angle that you are already familiar with the information in both books. The presenters foster an atmosphere where you are encouraged to go all-in and really challenge yourself to work on your "edge," while also employing the skills that already make you successful. They model the principals, tools, and strategies during the presentations, and there are small group break outs where you get to work on your "challenge" through the YLE framework which is great practical application work.

I was one out of a handful attendees from the "for-profit" business sector. I highly encourage more businesses to invest in their people, their company, and their community by sending their employees to this conference!

This training was informational, useful, and exciting! The facilitators were engaging and well-informed. The facility is clean and nice. The curriculum is well organized, easy to follow, and compatible with ANY job position or situation in life. Overall, this was an incredible 2 days and I loved the plethora of people I met who are from so many different backgrounds & company sectors. I learned a lot I can implement both immediately and long-term. Wonderful work KLC! I would only suggest a 3rd day simply because I loved learning and talking with everyone, but it is not necessary to get the most out of this program.
