This school is quite possibly one of the worst you could find, especially it being a private school. From the uncaring staff to the decaying building and clear lack of organization skills, this school is truly not a good choice. The staff do not care about the children and some of them make it quite clear that they hate the students, not to mention how some of them are inappropriately involved with minors, mixing themselves with parties thrown by the higher grades, or look at the students in a sexual manner, and that’s just talking about the “education aids” who are meant to take care of the children during their breaks. The people who actually run the school vary from egocentric to absolutely a horrible choice to work with children, often mixing both. The school’s “anti bullying policy” is a lie, considering that they do not do anything about actual bullies and do not keep anything students who are forced to confide in them about their mental health private, as they told the students they would. They actually seem to be quite comfortable in lying, considering they lie on open doors days to families visiting about the building to make the school seem more appealing. It is doubtful if the people in charge have any sense of shame, considering they make no efforts to listen to valid questions or requests from both parents and students, lie often times and perform clear favoritism for french or rich people, holding them up with more appreciation when considering who to let study in there, and performing clear favoritism between the class of students who paid more and less when the international section was more expensive. The school has many gaps in the schedule or difficulty organizing and they removed the extra languages years ago, under the pretext of having “not enough money”, despite the building being falling apart and the tuition fees being extremely high and rising. The school is also not accessible for kids with disabilities, whether mental or physical, and is not a better choice compared to other French schools in Toronto , considering they have nothing that sets them apart positively, but do in a negative way.

Rude staff, and extremely prejudice, found their admissions to favour "French" families and children. There are other french schools throughout Toronto. Look elsewhere, especially if you want your child to experience true Toronto multiculturalism yet be well versed in French linguistics....if not move to France. We live in Toronto.

1 out of 5 stars I didn’t learn anything here and was overall miserable each time I came to school because I knew that the washrooms closest to lunch would be locked at lunchtime and also that the schedules were messed up one day I ended up waiting outside of the building for 4 hours until someone had come to pick me up the only person who asked me if I was okay was another student. If you have a disability that can affect your everyday life with thinking and or working then don’t go here they offer no support for people who have disorders that can affect the way they learn the wording is far too complicated if your new to french and the FLS/ extra french class which is supposedly easier is actually harder to understand. This school is terrible and I am saying this as a grade 8 student but I can thank them for one thing the anxiety I got when I saw how many things I had to complete for one day there is absolutely no time to relax or get sleep.

Lacking many items and ideal school should have such as a first aid kit. Clearly need to look into better spending the tuition on items for the kids rather then where it shouldn’t be. In the last 4 years the schools gone down hill in satisfaction. Hopefully more care will be put in the next couple years.

It’s a very good school that follows the classic AEFE curriculum, and on top offers the OIB option. Pretty small compared to other AEFE institutions in big cities (I.e. Montreal - 4000+2500 students, while Toronto barely makes 500). The biggest downside is the cost - 18K$ per school year, and about 25K$ for Grade 12. It’s not helped by the government and to get scholarships or fundings is very hard (because it’s a small school = small admin board). Most of the families that have their kids go there are rich and kids can be rude and prone to bullying (my kid went through it), but the teacher board is very good and usually highly accredited

The only French School in Toronto. I've seen a great dedication and commitment from the entire staff. Academic excellence and results to baccalauréat are reaching new heights every year.
When they find their next campus, they have all it takes to provide all outdoor activities.
I heard many good things about TFS, especially about their amazing campus. However it looks like they're more a Canadian School taught in French.
