Now this one I have a lot to say. I hope they see my name too. Notredame is the worst school ever! Please never ever send your children there never! Since I was in yr7 to the moment I left in yr11 it was just so bad! I had the most racist form tutor from yr7 to 10 who then complained saying I was too much for her which meant I had to move to another form class. This woman hated my guts from the first day I couldn’t believe it! Do not send your children into an environment were teachers can harm their mental health which is what Notredame does. The teachers will say all sorts to you and knock down your confidence by 1000! My sister has a big afro and was told her hair was ugly can she tie it up. Everytime she has and afro two specific teachers and always laughing and making fun of her. Luckily my sister is confident but it got to the point where she reported to my mum and my mum dealt with them. I would mention every single teachers name that was horrible to me in this school. They need to be ashamed of themselves the way they treat us student like we’re rubbish on the floor. Soon I will mention names.

Honestly if I could give this place 0 stars I deffo would. I WOULD NEVER recommend this school to anyone ever. You get behaviour and conduct points for every little thing (ps: dont forget your pe kit or your reading book.)

You're not allowed packed lunch in yr7 until you reach yr9 bc the school's greedy for money so it's either the unappetising school lunch or starvation.

How many issues you get in your report is heavily influenced on whether your teachers like you or not. There is a box for "attitude to learning" and it's measured from 1 to 5 and it's very unfair because if your teacher don't like you then you're deffo getting a 1. If you're a teacher's pet then guess what you'll be getting.

Many if not most of the teachers will just be mean to you for no reason at all. I can name several teachers who will just verbally harass the class and then get surprised when many if not most of the students drop down a whole set or stay in a lower set instead of moving up.

The uniform is atrocious. Who in god's name decided brown is an acceptable colour to use. The worst part is that we aren't allowed to wear trousers but tbh I wouldn't want to imagine what brown trousers would look like with the uniform. The blouse colour system is one of only 3 things I can tolerate with this school because if we all wore the same colour, some yr10s and yr11s would be looking like yr7s.

Pink is the prettiest colour but be careful if you're a pink-shirt because over time the colour will degrade and you will look like a purple-shirt. (Idk if I should blame the school for this or the manufacturer but either way its still bad)

The dress code is extremely unfair. We officially aren't allowed to dye our hair a non-natural hair colour. I've seen or heard of multiple instances where darker skinned brunettes that dye their hair or put in braids that has a colour that is natural but not brown or black (eg. blonde, ginger) get sent to jubilee (isolation) but when the lighter skinned brunettes dye their hair to a literal almost-white-platinum-blonde the teachers suddenly do not have eyes. Anyways, 0/5 stars. Do not recommend at all. Never send your daughters here.

This school was good. The head teacher was helpful in my last year at Notre Dame by giving me a maths paper a day to complete, this really helped me with my maths scene. Some staff were helpful especially during intervention. Some teachers were uncommitted at times other than that I left Notre Dame with some good memories.

I spent the most miserable five years of my life at this school. Boy, it was strict. I once talked in the library and was BANNED FOREVER from uisng it again. I used to faint in chapel because of the incense and they finally let me sit at the back of the chapel so I could faint and not disturb fellow students. I'm sure much has changed, but those years idelibly, negatively, affected me for the rest of my life.

This school is atrocious . I was a good student for all much years , I didn't fight never got excludeded, never pushed on the stairs, never smoked weed in th the toilets , never shouted at the teachers or pushed them , but they still didn't even have the decency to invite me to the graduation . The grades are rubbish . Language school my back foot only the fluent speakers at home pass. I got told my coursework was an A when I opened the envelope it was an E.

PLEASE READ IF YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW THIS SCHOOL DEALS WITH THINGS: Ok right, ive left this school in After the summer holidays in 2017, i dropped out of school temporarily because my time there was that bad, and to this day im still not in a school and it is because of Notre dame, they are not even bothered to reply to my wanted schools at the moment, the schools ive applied for have sent countless emails to notre dame and none have been answered. Ive almost missed the whole of year 9, and its all because of this irresponsible school. OLDER REVIEW: I used to go to this school recently and at the Time I was there was not nice at all, if you are looking for a school think very carefully..

Had the misfortune to attend this school (Form 2) for 1 year in 1980. I was horribly bullied, a fact that my teacher knew, but just told me to ignore it (to a 12 year old!!). Having food thrown at you, being kicked, sworn at, and generally attacked, day after day, left, rather unsurprisingly, a rather bitter taste in my mouth. Having seen some of the reviews here, 36 years later, nothing has changed.
