Y’all’s from desk ER nurses are very inconsiderate. Not empathetic what’s so ever. So sad, for this kind of Job, we need people who are more empathetic. Not make us feel like your just another bill statement ready to get billed before we even get seen ..When we ask for some type of assistance, their response is we will get that when we can. So quick get us to sign the billing papers . But not quick to assist us . Like really wow!

I came in with severe pain due to 2 herniated discs. I walk to the front desk and the ladies just sit there and stare at me, no greetings or anything. So I told them I needed to be seen for the pain, they turn and give each other this look like I disrupted their whole day. They then rudely ask what my name and date of birth is. I have never felt so demeaned, ever. I am a nurse and would never make someone feel so uncomfortable. This isn’t the first time I have been treated like this here. update not even 10 minutes later I am waiting to get an MRI and they go to the lady next door thinking it was me and took her back and then they come over to me with the wrong name and was trying to take me back to another procedure that was meant for the lady next door. Wow. Just wow.

Went in on Sunday with chest pains. They brought me straight to the back probably the only thing that was okay about this visit . When Dr. E Barkanic came in she asked what my symptoms were. I started explaining and she was smirking at me while she spoke. Right then and there I lost RESPECT for her as a supposed doctor. How dare you smirk in the face of a patient thats in need of your help. Disrespectful. Yall made me feel very uncomfortable. Half the nurses were decent but some looked pissed off like I was a burden for coming in , had a look on there face like I was waisting there time. As soon as they did and ekg and chest xray which I told them i already had done 2 months prior and I told them my tests all came back fine she still insisted on running the same tests. Makes no sense. She could of ordered a ct scan or checked components in my stomach area but no ordered the same exact tests i already had. Probably just to rack up my bill . After the results came back fine they put me in a hallway and just left me there. All they did was give me an aspirin . I even unplugged some wires from the machine to see if someone would even come and check on me. NOPE not a single nurse or even barkanic . The nicest person there was the woman who did my chest xray and the man who got me checked out to leave. So sad and pathetic. People rely on yall to help them. We put faith in yall and practically our lives in your hands and for what to be treated like that? I couldnt believe it. Your supposed to be standing in the role as heroes. It's such a shame I will never ever go back there. As the days passed more serious symptoms started to occur so I decided to go to concho valley er on sherwood way this time . Please If your in need of help please go to CONCHO VALLEY ER ON SHERWOOD WAY NEAR SAMS CLUB. It is the best quality of service you will receive anywhere in san angelo tx. I had to go over there today and they treated me with the upmost respect and actually cared for me properly and wanted to really try and find out what was wrong. They gave me fluids ran multiple test the doctor himself came in physically checked me ,my abdominal gave me stuff for my nasea and pain etc did a ct scan and checked everything i mean everything and even gave me prescriptions for antibiotics just incase there was a possibility there was something they didn't see that's there just to make sure. Incredible service. Please read this review people it will really make a big difference on where you decide to go for future assistance. Listen doctors and nurses If your true intention isn't to help people to the fullest then maybe you need to rethink your position. We have enough problems in the world. No reason to have another one by not even being able to have faith in the people whose hands your in when sick. Thankyou for nothing shannon medical on 120 E harris ave for a $7,000 medical bill just to feel uncomfortable and unwanted in your emergency room. One day yall will either be bought out by another company or shut down from the lack of service you provide.

I went in 3 days after seeing my PCP due to worsening back pain. They attempted to basically feed me pain meds and when I denied care, refused to listen to me. When I asked to leave I had 2 other doctors try to give me care to which I both explained I already asked to leave. They then made me sign a consent explaining that if my condition worsens, it's not their fault, yet they did nothing to help. I didn't go for pain meds, I went to find out what was wrong with me.

Excellent, timely, and friendly service. I was passing through and a previously treated infection on my leg took a turn for the worse. Within 1.5 hours I was admitted, roomed, blood drawn, given a timeline overview, scene by the doctor, explained the issue and course of action, discharged, and walked 1.5 blocks to the Shannon Pharmacy where my meds were waiting. Sure, timing is everything. But, when possible this is how they work. Love this place.

Beyond disbelief. Worst example of patient care I've witnessed. Shannon charges insurance companies to stick emergency patients in hallways?
Nurses criticizing the work of other nurses... really needed to have this place evaluated for fraud..
